I took this on holiday in France three weeks ago and its possibly my favourite picture that I’ve ever taken.  I spent hours outside in a field trying to capture the most beautiful starry skys that I’ve ever witnessed, all photographs were nice but there was missing something.  On my last night there, whilst tipsy, I leaned on a fence, balanced my camera on a low wall and set my camera to a 30 second shutter speed and this is what it captured.  I won’t even try to describe how I felt after seeing this picture for the first time on my camera. ©K Snooks
